Corey Davis tops 4,000, W. Michigan beats NC Central 70-21
Corey Davis surpassed 4,000 career yards receiving on Saturday night and Western Michigan beat North Carolina Central 70-21 in a game that ended a few minutes past midnight.
Davis had seven catches for 150 yards and his third three-touchdown game of his career with the Broncos (2-0). He finished the night ranked 15th on the all-time FBS list with 4,005 career yards receiving.
Western Michigan hit 70 points for the first time since 1996. The Broncos led 42-21 when the game was delayed at halftime and scored two touchdowns in each of the quarters after the break.
