Esks QB Reilly injured in loss to Argonauts

After a Friday night that saw the Montreal Alouettes lose their #1 and #2 options under centre, two more injuries have sidelined CFL quarterbacks.

The Eskimos may have lost more than their season-opener on Saturday as they await news on Reilly.
Reilly was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of the Esks' 26-11 loss to the Toronto Argonauts in Fort McMurray, his leg taped up after suffering an apparent leg injury. The extent of the injury is unknown while the team has not yet released a statement.
Now in his third season as the Esks' starting quarterback, Reilly threw for 170 yards on 16-of-28 passing with a touchdown vs. Toronto. He was replaced by backup quarterback Matt Nichols.
The Eskimos get a week off before playing their home opener against the Ottawa REDBLACKS in Week 3 on July 9.
