Pineda, Chen square off as Yankees visit Orioles

The Orioles will host the Yankees for a three-game set that starts on Monday night at Camden Yards. Baltimore will send lefty Wei-Yin Chen to the mound against Michael Pineda for New York.
Chen took a no-decision after allowing three runs on four hits -- including a home run -- and two walks with four strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings against the Rays on Tuesday. Pineda took a no-decision after six innings of two-run ball in his 2015 debut, Wednesday vs. Toronto.
Things to know about this game
• The O's, who started the year with 13 pitchers, could finally get back down to 12. David Lough played a rehab game Sunday, and the outfielder could be activated in place of knuckleballer Eddie Gamboa.
• Yankees manager Joe Girardi will want to keep Jacoby Ellsbury and Brett Gardner at the top of the lineup. Both speedsters have had success against Chen: Ellsbury is 6-for-13 (.462) with a double, and Gardner is 5-for-14 (.357) with two doubles, a homer and five RBIs when facing the southpaw.
• The Yankees are working on cleaning up their defense, having committed a Major League-leading eight errors through the first five games of the season. Their offense started the year cold as well; New York led in just one of the first 55 innings they played this season.
